Mmofraturo Girls Boarding School, located in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, is a distinguished institution with a rich legacy of empowering young women through quality education. In recent years, Mmofraturo has undertaken significant infrastructure improvements to enhance student welfare. Notably, in May 2022, the school inaugurated a solar-powered eight-seater water closet toilet facility, equipped with a mechanized borehole, to address long-standing sanitation challenges. This initiative was led by the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, an alumna of the school, and was supported by the Community Water and Sanitation Agency .
